Domains: Using Your Own Domain or Registering a New One

Every website starts with an address. You have three options.

1. A free address

When you order, you can pick a free address on our domain — you choose the name, such as yourname. It works immediately — nothing else to set up.

2. A domain you already own

On plans that allow it, choose use my own domain at checkout and enter it (for example yourngo.org). We'll tell you which DNS settings to point at us; once they're in place, your site loads on your domain.

3. Register a new domain

Don't have one yet? Go to My Services → Domains, search for the name you want, and register it if it's available. Registered domains renew yearly, and you'll get reminders before they expire.

Changing the address of an existing site

Open the service's Details page and request a domain change. Our team reviews the request and lets you know when it's done.

Not sure about DNS settings? Open a support ticket — we can guide you through it.
